“Fenella was really helpful in designing a new ring out of an existing eternity band and single diamond engagement ring. Not knowing what I wanted when I first met her, she showed me numerous designs that she had created previously and we worked together on adapting one of those designs to create my new ring using the existing diamonds and platinum. The end result - my asscher cut engagement diamond is now and amazing centerpiece that sparkles and stands out surrounded by the baguette diamonds that were previously in my eternity ring. It was a huge decision to change my existing rings into a completely new design, however I'm so pleased with it. “When the central sapphire of my wife's engagement ring fell out and was lost, she said it was like losing a front tooth! We went to see several jewellers locally, none which were able to help. “My future daughter in law had her engagement ring designed and made by Fenella Baskerville and I loved it so much that it was by no coincidence that I to asked for her to re design my engagement ring and wedding band using the diamond from my original ring and sapphires from another ring incorporated into the engagement ring. “I was so excited to take possession of my new eternity ring from Fenella Baskerville Designs. As expected Fenella did not disappoint. Some years ago Fenella made my engagement ring, which I have worn which I have worn every day and adore. However this time around it was a remake of my mothers Wedding ring. “I have been married for 15 years and my wedding band and engagement ring were yellow gold. As my 40th Birthday was approaching I wanted to have my rings re-designed and set into platinum. I needed a jewellery designer who would give me options about what I could do with my princess cut solitaire and wedding band which contained small diamonds. Fenella was highly recommended to me and she was exactly what I was looking for! She listened carefully to what I wanted and the type of rings I liked. She sent me numerous photos of other work she had done to gauge my style and this was really helpful. “When my mother died, I inherited a couple of her rings which she had loved very much. Unfortunately, they style of the rings were just not to my taste, though I loved knowing that I had them as a reminder of her. “My lovely mum passed away quite suddenly at the start of the pandemic. A lasting memory of Mum, is how much she loved her jewellery. I had so many pieces and not enough days in the week to wear them all! I kept looking at them and wearing a few then putting them away again. This behaviour went of for the best part of 2 years.
