Ruby is a crystallised aluminium oxide, and has exactly the same chemical composition as a sapphire. Only small amounts of colouring trace elements separate them. From dark red to a light pink, the ruby has proved its popularity in jewellery for hundreds of years. The finest stones come from
the Mogok region in northern Myanmar (Burma). These stones can be (traditional & brilliant cut), oval, emerald-cut, marquise, pear, trillion, triangle, square (carrie-cut & princess), baguette, taper, cushion, and many other fancy cuts, all in a large range of sizes.

The “star” in a round ruby, also known as asterism, is a six-rayed star-like optical phenomenon that appears when light interacts with aligned, needle-like rutile inclusions within the gemstone.
These stones are available form stock and can be designed into any piece of jewellery or purchased as stones alone.

Delivery Information
- Place your order securely via our website.
- If needed, we will send you a ring sizer and an email to which you will need to reply with the size you need after using the ring sizer.
- Our dedicated team will begin hand crafting your piece of jewellery. Please see the ‘How its made?’ page for further details.
- Final inspection and Quality Control will be done in person by Fenella Baskerville.
- Your item is despatched (normally 4-5 weeks after order confirmation) using a fully trackable and fully insured delivery service in discrete packaging.

Returns
We are confident you will love your jewellery, but should you have made the wrong selection you can return your item within 30 days and we will be happy to arrange an exchange or a full refund for you (please be aware that, on international deliveries, we cannot refund any import duties or taxes).
