Memory Jewellery

Many years ago, my journey making memory jewellery from items passed down by a family member began as my Granny gave me a ring that had belonged to her mother.
The ring was set with old cut diamonds in a mount that was not only broken but in yellow gold which I don’t like to wear. I kept it in the safe for many months because it felt odd to alter it. A couple of years passed and my Granny enquired why I hadn’t done anything with it, she wanted me to wear and enjoy the diamonds, so with my Granny’s encouragement I cut the stones out and made a more modern platinum ring, set with the diamonds I’d been gifted so that I could wear them every day.
Wearing a piece of jewellery like this has given numerous clients the feelings I first felt wearing this ring, it’s like a comfort blanket, it’s a feeling of reassurance, it’s a feeling that they are with you, by your side, no matter what.
I realised from that moment that I could do this for clients, ‘Memory Jewellery’, where we combine the gold and stones from a loved one into a meaningful piece that will honour their memory. By doing this we create for the wearer a tangible connection to their loved one through a piece of jewellery. This type of jewellery serves as a personal tribute, offering comfort and a way to keep cherished memories alive and loved ones close.
Your ‘Memory Jewellery’ will be the most powerful piece of jewellery you ever wear.
The pictured pendant uses the clients late partner’s wedding ring which was then wrapped in platinum and then their initials sculpted into the centre of the wedding ring to make a new pendant she wears always.
